Steve, the owner of Eden's Best Cat Sitting started this business as a new stay-at-home Dad looking to merge his love for cats with a desire to contribute to his family and community. He's an Electrical Engineer who left the corporate office to become a High School math teacher and soccer coach. When his family needed him to care for his infant son he created Eden's Best Cat Sitting and quickly found that the Bay Area had more cat needs than one Dad can manage alone! Realizing the need to expand capacity he built an Eden's Best Team, filled with other responsible cat enthusiasts who love what they do!
Meet the Team
We take a three-pronged approach to cat sitting: taking care of the cats, taking care of the home, and taking care of the homeowner.
Steve: Owner, Manager, and Cat Sitter. Loves meeting new cats and seeing all the custom systems of food, water, and litter each family has developed to meet their needs.
Nicole: A professional who concluded a rigorous career to spend more time with her young daughter and focus on activities she loves. She adores spending time with cats, brushing and socializing with kitties, reading books, and helping her daughter with school work.
Tyler: A natural caregiver with a love for cats. He likes seeing the different personalities of cats and making sure they are well-fed, hydrated, and socialized. He's creative and reliable.
Roxana: A student with exceptional organizational skills. She likes spending time with cats, making sure they have what they need, and connecting with cat parents about their babies.
Madeline: An athlete and young financial professional. She enjoys relaxing in the evenings with cats, spending time with her family, and eating delicious food.
Kevin: A full-time professional in the semiconductor industry. He loves spending time with cats, watching documentaries, reading books, practicing mindfulness, and being meticulous in his cat sitting care.
Holly: An attentive mom and full-time professional working in project management. She loves greeting cats and making sure they are satisfied with their play and care needs. Likes watering plants.
Rebekah: Contratulations, we'll miss you and wish you well in Grad School! Rebekah has been a part of Eden's Best Team since 2018 and takes with her the memories of all the cats she cared for throughout the years. Thank you!
